About The 5th Annual Tokyo Sustainable Seafood Symposium

Japan is home to the largest seafood market in the world, and a powerful player on the international seafood stage. Since the inception of the symposium in 2015, Japan has witnessed a significant increase in business engagement on the topic of sustainable and responsible procurement.
This year, the annual flagship event of the Japan’s sustainable seafood movement is taking another leap forward and will take place over two days, bringing together Japanese and global business leaders and stakeholders to discuss and design the strategic, realistic, and effective local solutions through series of plenaries, break-out sessions, and networking events. The symposium will welcome both speakers and audience participants from around the world and will be provided with simultaneous English and Japanese interpretation.
